Viking B
Viking B is a gas field in the southern North Sea, operated by Harbour Energy PLC. It was discovered in 1965 and produced from 1973 to 2015. Production has ceased. From January 1987, when its monthly records begin, it produced about 24.5 billion cubic metres of gas.
Production
Viking B produced about 2.2 million barrels of oil and condensate and 24.5 billion cubic metres of gas between January 1987 and September 2015. The NSTA's monthly records for the field begin in January 1987, but it started producing in August 1973, so earlier output isn't included.
Latest: 0.08 million cubic metres a day in September 2015. Highest year: 1999, averaging 6.8 million cubic metres a day. Highest month: March 2000.
Latest: 55 barrels a day in September 2015. Highest year: 1995, averaging 2,000 barrels a day. Highest month: January 1995.
