Murdoch
Murdoch is a gas field in the southern North Sea, operated by Harbour Energy PLC. It was discovered in 1985 and produced from 1993 to 2018. Production has ceased. From January 1995, when its monthly records begin, it produced about 17.6 billion cubic metres of gas.
Production
Murdoch produced about 3.6 million barrels of oil and condensate and 17.6 billion cubic metres of gas between January 1995 and August 2018. The NSTA's monthly records for the field begin in January 1995, but it started producing in October 1993, so earlier output isn't included.
Latest: 0.29 million cubic metres a day in August 2018. Highest year: 2003, averaging 5.5 million cubic metres a day. Highest month: February 2003.
